In January 1999, MDTVISION changed focus to concentrate on its service activities. Services previously offered in association with software products subsequently became MDTVISION's capital business. Its quality control system therefore needed restructuring in order to incorporate expertise acquired from development and customer services.
In January 2003, MDTVISION became a subsidiary of the IBM group.
Now attached to the "industry" department of IBM's BCS (Business Consulting Services) entity, MDTVISION began to adapt its Quality benchmark to increase consistency with its parent company's policy.
The general conditions stipulated in its Quality manual will however apply on a permanent basis and MDTVISION undertakes to employ them at all times.
In terms of project management, a dedicated Quality Assurance policy lists additional conditions that complete and clarify for a specific project the general conditions stipulated in the MDTVISION benchmark.
